Doula for a day is a 3 hour in home visit, where I will support a new Mama in what it is she needs that day. To prepare for our day, I’ll check in with her to understand where she is at, and figure out what will serve her best.

Doula for a day is a 3 hour in home visit, where I will support a new Mama in what it is she needs that day. To prepare for our day, I’ll check in with her to understand where she is at, and figure out what will serve her best.
On the day I bring a nourishing postpartum meal and snacks, then get to work. This might be setting Mama up with a foot soak and foot massage while I hear how the journey is going and what the challenges are then send her off for a restful nap while I hold babe or take care of light housework, fold laundry or make another meal in her home.
I’ll be available by text or voice memo for the next week in case she has any questions or needs a little more support.
This is a wonderful option for a gift that will really support your loved one during postpartum. Some Mamas also book this in as a gift to themselves in the early weeks.
